Chicken (Meat) Retail Rate Analysis – July 2025 (Per Kg in PKR)

In July 2025, chicken (alive) retail rates in Pakistan experienced a sharp rise followed by fluctuations throughout the month. The rates started relatively low at PKR 432 per kg on July 1st, but quickly climbed, reaching PKR 562 by July 11th.

The mid of July recorded the highest jump, with prices peaking at PKR 595 per kg between July 18th and July 23rd, which was one of the steepest increases seen this year. After that, rates showed some correction, dropping to PKR 562 on July 22nd, but bounced back again before settling towards the month’s end.

By the last week of July, prices stabilized between PKR 548–555, closing the month at PKR 555 on July 31st.
